Safety and care

Here you will find important information about safety during use and care instructions for a long life of the baby carrier.

safety instructions

Please read the following information carefully before using the baby carrier.

Danger

Keep an eye on your child at all times when using the baby carrier. Adjust the baby carrier using the straps correctly for you and the baby. Only use the baby carrier for babies between 3.2-15 kg (7-35 lbs). Only use the baby carrier for a single baby. For premature babies, babies with low birth weight and children with medical problems, consult a doctor before using this product. Assist your baby until he or she can hold his or her head up independently. The baby carrier is not intended for use during sports activities such as running, cycling, swimming, skiing, etc. Be aware of hazards in the home environment such as heat sources or hot liquids. Your movement and the baby's movement may affect your balance. Inspect the baby carrier for wear and damage before use. Keep the baby carrier away from children when not in use. Flybaby accepts no liability for improper use of the baby carrier.

Danger of falling

Babies can fall through the wide leg opening or out of the carrier. Adjust the leg openings so they fit snugly around the baby's legs. Before each use, make sure all fasteners are securely fastened. Make sure your child is sitting safely in the carrier. Be especially careful when leaning or walking. Never bend at the waist, but bend at the knees. As the baby becomes more active, the risk of falling out of the carrier may increase.

Danger of suffocation

Babies under 4 months can suffocate in this baby carrier if the face is pressed tightly against the body. Do not strap the baby too tightly to the body. Leave room for head movement. Keep the baby's face free of obstructions at all times.

Care instructions

With the right care, you can enjoy your Flybaby baby carrier for a long time – and haven’t you always wanted to know what these symbols mean?

Hand wash

Wash with detergent for wool and delicates at 30° on the wool wash program. We recommend using a laundry bag to protect the buckles.

Do not tumble dry

Let the baby carrier dry on the line rather than putting it in the dryer.

Do not iron

The 3D knit material does not need to be ironed – it smooths itself out.

Do not bleach

Please do not bleach the baby carrier – otherwise it will lose its beautiful color.

Do not dry clean

Please do not dry clean – the baby carrier is best cleaned at home in your washing machine.
