Is the Flybaby safe for my baby?
Yes. The Flybaby was developed with careful consideration of safety and tested according to the highest EU and US standards. Always follow the safety instructions in the user manual to ensure safe use.
Does the Flybaby promote healthy hip development?
Yes. The squat-spread position the Flybaby supports is recommended by midwives and physiotherapists to promote healthy hip development. The Flybaby is also certified as hip-friendly by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
How is the price of the Flybaby infant carrier determined?
The price reflects what's inside it: high-quality materials, elaborate workmanship, certified safety and a design made for everyday life — and built to last. Can the carrier be used by both parents?
Yes. Both the shoulder straps and the hip belt (66–127 cm) can be adjusted individually — so both parents, grandparents or caregivers can wear it without starting over.
From what age and weight can my baby use it?
The Flybaby is suitable from birth up to approximately 15 kg. The adjustable central panel ensures your baby always sits in the hip-healthy M-position. Depending on your child's proportions, the M-position is guaranteed up to clothing size 86 (approximately 12–18 months). For premature babies we recommend consulting a carrier expert in advance.
Do I need practice to put it on?
Flybaby wurde bewusst auf intuitive Handhabung ausgelegt – mit wenigen, sinnvoll platzierten Verstellmöglichkeiten und magnetischen Sicherheitsverschlüssen, die sich mit einer Hand schließen lassen.
