Yes. The squat-and-spread position supported by the Flybaby Toddler Carrier is recommended by midwives and physiotherapists to promote healthy hip development. In addition, the Flybaby Toddler Carrier is certified as hip-healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

Can both parents use the Flybaby Toddler Carrier?
Yes. Both the shoulder straps and the waist belt (66–127 cm) are individually adjustable—so both parents, grandparents, or caregivers can wear it without having to fully readjust it each time.
From what age and weight of the child can the Flybaby Toddler Carrier be used?
The Flybaby Toddler Carrier is suitable from birth up to approx. 15 kg. The adjustable panel ensures that your baby is always carried in the hip-healthy M position. Depending on your child’s body proportions, the M position is maintained up to clothing size 86 (around 12–18 months). For premature babies, we recommend seeking babywearing advice beforehand.
Do I need to practice putting it on?
The Flybaby Toddler Carrier was intentionally designed for intuitive use—with just a few, well-placed adjustment points and magnetic safety buckles that can be closed with one hand.
